Grand Final action this weekend!

Sylvania Bulldogs have two teams in the junior grand finals this weekend:

U11B's vs Lane Cove Gold at Boronia Park 2, Sunday 29th August 2010 @ 1.00pm

U14C's vs Easts Wallaroos at Marsfield Oval 1, Sunday 29th August 2010 @ 11.30am

 Two fantastic wins over the weekend have seen the U11's and U14's through to their respective grand finals this coming Sunday, 29th August 2010. The 11B's were victorious over a gallant Collaroy Cougars team 39-10 at Griffith Park, Collaroy. They now meet Lane Cove Gold at Boronia Park on Sunday. Meanwhile, the 14C's continued their fantastic season by defeating minor premiers Hornsby 29-14 to progress through to the decider this weekend against Easts Wallaroos.

Good luck to the boys and we know you will do the club proud, win-lose-draw, as you have all season. To all the families and supporters, if you can, please come along and support the boys this weekend in their endeavours to bring home a premiership. We know they will appreciate your support. It's an exciting time for the boys and they should enjoy the experience. Good luck boys.

Congratulations to Jett Turner on his selection in NSW PSSA U12's Rugby Union team. The NSW team will travel to Adelaide in mid-September to compete against the ACT, VIC and SA. Jett started his rugby with Sylvania several years ago in the mini's and is now taking his rugby to the next level with hopefully the first of many selections in representative teams in the years ahead. Well done and best of luck in September.

Southern Districts Junior Gala Day(s)

The Bulldog pups competed in the Southern Districts Junior Rugby over the weekends of 6-7 August and 13-14 August. There was some great rugby played and the boys were given the chance to show off the skills they have learnt and developed over the course of the year. The future looks bright with the talent that is coming through in the junior ranks.
